Air to Water Generator ( AWG)
The Air to Water Generator (AWG) represents a crucial and innovative solution for extracting drinking water from air humidity, addressing the pressing issue of diminishing access to clean and safe drinking water worldwide. With projections indicating that within the next decade, half of the global population will inhabit regions lacking such access, the significance of AWG technology cannot be overstated.
In collaboration with FCW, Finland, Himarka offers AWG systems to deliver high-quality water to individuals in need, as well as to businesses, governments, and humanitarian organizations operating across the globe. These units function by drawing in ambient air, where humidity is converted into pure, drinkable water. An initial air filtration stage removes micro particles and dust from the incoming air, ensuring the purity of the water produced.
Subsequently, the water vapor is cooled within coils using a compressor and coolant, causing it to condense into liquid form. The resulting condensate is collected in a tray before being pumped through a series of advanced filters. These filters include a sediment filter, a pre-carbon filter, an ultra-filtration membrane filter, a post-carbon filter, and a mineralization filter, further purifying the water.
Prior to dispensing, the water undergoes additional treatment via a flow-type UV lamp, effectively eliminating any remaining bacteria and microorganisms. This comprehensive purification process ensures that the water stored in the unit’s tank is of the highest quality and free from contaminants, ready for consumption or use.
Models & Technical specifications
Our standard operating conditions encompass a temperature range of 15°C to 45°C and a humidity range of 30%RH to 100%RH. Should temperatures fall below 15°C or exceed 55°C, customization of our systems is required.
We offer machines equipped with solar options and battery backup for uninterrupted operation, albeit at an additional cost. Our FCW AWG (Water from Air Generators) leverage proven technology enhanced by our proprietary design and optimization algorithms.
Our AWG units incorporate advanced heat exchange systems, efficiently cooling the inlet air to reduce power consumption compared to conventional systems. With just 0.14 kWh of energy, our FCW AWG units can produce 1 liter of water.
